Schiedam
The old city of Schiedam it well worth a visit. With several old windmills along the old walls, it is like the Kinderdijk in the city. This is just minutes from Rotterdam by car, tram or Metro.
After a a walk through the old city it may be time to enjoy a nice meal in our old mill. It is just 4-5 minutes walk from the “Grote Markt” (market square) of Schiedam.
Near to our mill is the departure point of the sightseeing boat through the Schiedam canals. This can be combined with a tasting arrangement of Jenever, the traditional Dutch gin destilled here for hundreds of years.
